Customers have the flexibility to fund the entire property purchase cost without having to make any down payment. This differs from other banks in the market that, in accordance with central bank regulations, typically offer a maximum of 85% financing (LTV) based on the property value, requiring a compulsory 15% down payment.

No Processing Fee*

There are no processing fees for customers who apply for EDB mortgage or Home Finance through the online channel or mobile app. Whereas other banks may charge processing fees, which could be as high as 1% of the loan amount.

No Salary Transfer Required

Customers are not required to transfer their salary to EDB to qualify for a loan. We offer home finance/mortgage loans without the need for salary transfer, and monthly repayments are collected through the DDA system. This grants customers the freedom to choose their bank, unlike other banks that may require salary transfer for certain products and to offer better rates.

No Early Settlement Fee

We don't believe paying your mortgage off earlier than planned should cost you, that's why we don't charge any early settlement fees
